AFRICAN PARTNERS: The African Computing and
Telecommunications Summit 2004 was in Mauritius in Sept. 2004. The event aims to focus on "building partnerships to mainstream Africa's ICT sector," and will include specialised forums on African open source, African e-government and a regional workshop on standards for e-goverment security organised by the UN
